CT Accounting Group was established in 1982 in Toronto, Ontario by Constantinos “Dinos” Theodorakopoulos, CPA, CGA—a man whose name became synonymous with integrity, clarity, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right.

Dinos’s journey began in a quiet village in the Kalamata region of Greece. After earning his degree from Athens University and serving as an officer in the Greek Army, he immigrated to Canada in 1964. In Toronto, he met his wife Mary, and together they raised three children—Reena, Patty, and Stavros.

Determined to build a better life in a new country, Dinos studied late into the night, an accounting textbook in one hand and an English-Greek dictionary in the other.
He wasn’t just chasing credentials—he was laying the foundation for a boutique consultancy built on integrity and purpose.

Clients respected him for his rare ability to cut through complexity with clarity and conviction.

Peers across the profession turned to him for insight, while clients remained with him for decades—drawn not only by his sound judgment and unwavering integrity, but by a charisma that blended sharp intellect, quick wit, and genuine charm. His reputation wasn’t built on self-promotion, but on character—steadfast, generous, and deeply respected.

Outside the office, Dinos remained deeply connected to his roots, volunteering within Toronto’s Greek community as treasurer and vice-president for many years.

When he passed away on April 7, 2014, Dinos left behind more than a consultancy. He left behind a name built on trust—and a legacy now carried forward by his son, Stavros Theodorakopoulos.

Who We Are Today

Today, CT Accounting Group is a full-service boutique consultancy serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area and Kingston region. We specialize in corporate accounting for small businesses, guided by the same values that built this consultancy: honesty, precision, and deeply personal service.

We don’t take on clients—we build relationships. We don’t believe in prefabricated solutions—only careful, client-focused strategies built to last.

Stavros Theodorakopoulos, our Principal of Client Accounting Services, officially joined the consultancy in 1994. Over the years, he expanded his expertise through key roles in corporate finance, wealth management, and public accounting, including time at Kerr Financial, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), and respected firms across Ontario.

In 2009, Stavros answered another call to serve—joining the Canadian Armed Forces, where he trained as a geospatial engineer and was advanced to the rank of Corporal in short order—an experience that shaped his approach to service, accountability, and leadership.

Today, Stavros leads CT Accounting Group with a modern perspective—but remains rooted in the timeless principles that have defined the consultancy since day one.
